Wednesday and Saturday Evenings

THERE WILL BE NO RESERVING OF SEATS AFTER 6:45 P.M.

Our goal is to make bingo entertaining and enjoyable for all.  If you have any suggestions that will help us achieve this, please let us know.

ADMISSION SLIPS – Every person seated in the hall must have an admission slip.  Your admission slip must be filled out and visible to the bingo staff.  Players without their own individual admission slip will not be paid.  As required by Virginia law, we will collect a copy of every winner’s admission slip.  We do not sell or rent your name, address, phone number, etc. to any third party.

NO SHARING BINGO CARDS – Each player must purchase bingo cards for their individual play.  Do not purchase more cards than you can handle.  SHARING BINGO CARDS IS NOT PERMITTED.  Anyone sharing their cards will not be paid.

CELL PHONES & DISRUPTIONS – Please turn off all cell phones, pagers or other noise making devices or set them to silent mode.  Cell phones may not be used in the hall while any session is in play. The Franconia Volunteer Fire Department reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone, for any reason.  We also reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises, without refund, for disruptive or discourteous behavior.

CHECK POLICY – We accept checks with a preprinted name and address plus a telephone number and ID number.  If your check is not honored by your bank, you must redeem the check within seven days or it will be turned over to a collection agency with fees assessed.  IF BAD CHECKS ARE NOT REPAID PROMPTLY, WE WILL PROSECUTE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.

AGE LIMITS – No one under age 18 may play Bingo or be in the hall while Bingo is in progress.  No one under age 18 may purchase or play “Instant Bingo”/Pull Tabs.

PULL TABS – As we move from one game to the next, there may be more than one box in play at a time.  All “Instant Bingo”/Pull Tab prizes must be collected by the players the same night that they win.  Winning tickets may not be cashed at a later date.  As required by Virginia law, we will collect your name and address for all “Instant Bingo”/Pull Tab prizes over $250.

LUCKY SEVEN – Each Lucky Seven face costs $1.  To play, you must choose 7 numbers from 1 to 75 or allow the computer to pick for you.  The progressive prize (from $500 to $5000) and the amount of numbers within which you must win for the progressive prize are posted.  If no one wins the progressive prize, play will continue and a regular prize of $100 or 50% of Lucky Seven sales (whichever is less) will be given.

WINNER TAKES ALL GAME – Each Winner Takes All costs $1.  The prize amount equals the amount of money we take in for this game up to $1000.

WINNING BINGO – During the bingo games, the callers have little control over the amount of time between balls as the time is set by the machine.  The number boards are for your convenience only and are not in any way official.  The caller’s table is official and available for inspection at any time.  The last number called IS required for a valid bingo.  While a raised hand is helpful, “Bingo” must be shouted out loud and heard by the caller.  If the caller does not hear “Bingo” and either calls the next ball or closes the game, then that bingo will not count.  Once the caller has closed the game, no more bingos will be allowed.  BINGO PRIZES ARE PAID THE NIGHT OF PLAY ONLY.   IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PAID, DO NOT LEAVE THE HALL WITHOUT SEEING THE BINGO MANAGER ON DUTY.  Any disputes will be resolved that same evening by the Bingo Manager whose decision is final.

VALID BINGO PATTERNS – Regular bingo can be any of the following: five numbers in any line (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal), a postage stamp (2x2) in a corner or the four outside corners. The special game patterns (i.e. Inside Picture Frame, Letter X, etc.) are stated in the program.  The possible winning patterns for each game may also be visible on the screen behind the caller.  The floor workers should be able to help you with questions you might have.  Feel free to ask.

BECOMING A MEMBER – Anyone who wants to become a member of the Franconia Volunteer Fire Department is encouraged to join.  For information, ask any Bingo worker and they should be able to direct you to the appropriate person.  We have openings for both administrative members (who work bingo exclusively) and riding members (people who want to be firefighters and/or Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) and also work bingo).

Thank you for coming to the Franconia Volunteer Fire Department’s Bingo.  We hope you enjoy the evening.
GOOD LUCK!
